Your Mrs. Universe International is a long-standing healthcare
executive, pageant enthusiast, health advocate, mother, and wife. |

April enjoys volunteering within her community and nationwide for
various charities that promote her love of children's research
within healthcare. She believes that it takes a village and
promotes her platform "Children's Research Saves Lives". Her
family endured a particularly scary journey upon their son's
arrival and through the grace of God their son is thriving at
life. Her family will forever be grateful to the medical
professionals and how far medical research has come when
unfortunate circumstances present. April and her family will
always continue to pay homage to the ongoing cause of children's
research organizations. |

She has consistently worked in the medical field her entire
career. April's love for healthcare and technology has allowed
her career to grow within the country as the nation began its
journey of electronic medical records throughout healthcare
organizations nationwide. She holds several healthcare
certifications and has enjoyed her tenth year as a healthcare
executive. Alongside April, her husband, Terrence, also works
within the healthcare sector as well in a different capacity. |

While She and her family live in Arizona, they spend their time
giving back and supporting organizations that rally for
children's research, and are happy to pay it forward to other
families that indeed may face adversity when it comes to their
children's health. When Mrs. Arizona and her family are not
volunteering, they are enjoying life golfing, playing tennis, and
spending as much time as they can with their fur-babies. |

This road warrior loves exploring everywhere, and
modeling. She has dabbled in the lifestyle modeling industry and
has also walked in New York Fashion Week for Marc Defang. If you
can't find her volunteering, spending time with family, or doing
one of her favorite activities you will find her serving on the
board as an executive leader of some sort. This Titleholder has
volunteered with and continues to serve within board positions at
the Health Information Management System Society (HIMSS
Regionally and Nationally) and Junior League (JLP). |

April believes in the motto, "if you don't, who will", and has
enjoyed teaching her son, Wyatt, that we all must serve our
community and strive to help one another. Throughout the years
she has made numerous friendships with like-minded women, and
also had the opportunity to share what modern day pageantry means
to her and how it is helpful for women in general. |
