I thank God for bringing me to the United States of America less than 4 years ago. I had a good job. I had already studied extensively and felt satisfied with my life which was surrounded by family, friends and a very dignified French cat. Leaving my homelands, crossing the ocean to a new continent and receiving new life-changing blessings were all divinely engineered by the Grandest and most Kind of all Minds. |
I thank my husband and main photographer Chris Sampson. Because of him, I became a Mrs. He is partly blind and yet takes wonderful pictures of most of my events. His support is meaningful and precious beyond any sponsorship. |

I thank Brigham Young University for the generous, full scholarship and extensive and wonderful means I received that allowed me to complete a P.H.D. in Inquiry, Measurement and Evaluation. BYU provided me with secular knowledge in qualitative and statistical analysis. It also provided me with a precious breadth of material means to succeed. BYU gives access to extensive research with able researchers who are both bearers of secular knowledge and Christ-like attributes. BYU’s International Office provided me—a French citizen--with extended help to fare well in a new country and continent. Wellness and sport facilities allowed me to live the principles of my Latin ancestors of “Mens Sana In Corpore Sano” ("a healthy mind in a healthy body"). Most precious of all, BYU provided me with a framework of study which frees the mind: science, human depth, philosophy and faith are one. The number of able and good-willed people necessary to provide me with such an experience is countless. They are students, scholars, office workers, custodians, generous donors, friends and beyond. |
I thank Professors Lane Fisher and Richard Sudweeks (my dissertations chairs), for their patience. They both gave me room to think deeply and extensively on the path I wanted to take with my dissertations. |
I thank Professor Joseph Olsen. His patient listening and careful reading of my ideas and questions provided vital support and beautiful clarity in a land of many doubts and confusions. His scholarly knowledge coupled with a peaceable and gentle demeanor brought my dissertation to light. |
I thank the following companies for providing me with professional experience and extensive means to deepen my knowledge and practice of Educational Inquiry, Courses Design, Statistical Test Analysis, and Measurement Analysis: Lumen Learning, The Medical School of the University of Utah, The Center for Language Studies at BYU and Imagine Learning. |
I thank the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for providing me with continuing opportunities to live Christ's Gospel in everyday life by ministering in small and simple ways to the one. Jesus always ministered to the one. The Gospel takes on its full meaning in the joy of matrimony, family and fellowship of brothers, sisters and friends. |
I thank the Universe International pageant system for providing women with such an interesting opportunity to live in the flesh and the real world, and use both intelligence and conscience to serve those around them. |
I thank Kimberly Sadleir-Acosta, currently Mrs Utah Universe International, for her generous help in discovering the Pageantry world. She is a beautiful soul and spreads light around her. |
